Michael Schenker´s "Temple of Rock" - The Mad Axeman celebrates his newest classic rock event. After touring the world in 2009/10 with his MSG 30th Anniversary Show featuring MSG´s original singer Gary Barden and classic rock legends like Carmine Appice, Simon Phillips, Chris Slade, Chris Glen etc. he now places another piece in the big rock temple: A brand new lineup featuring the Ex-Scorpions stars Herman Rarebell on drums and Francis Buchholz on bass and Doogie White on vocals presents a new program containing classics from UFO ("Rock Bottom", "Doctor Doctor"), MSG ("Armed and Ready", "Into The Arena") and the Scorpions ("e.g. "Another Piece of Meat", "Rock You like a Hurricane") plus new songs from the just released CD "Temple of Rock" (Inakustik), such as "Before the Devil Knows You´re Dead", "Miss Claustrophobia" and "Hangin on". In 2010 Michael Schenker received the Marshall '11' Award of the Classic Rock Magazine, in 2011 he rocked the High Voltage Festival; now he´s back in 2012 with the "Temple of Rock" world tour.
